Producer Kristy Maurer earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Radio-Television-Film and a minor in Business Foundations at the University of Texas in Austin.  As a student, she produced, directed, and edited many shorts.  After graduation, she produced a myriad of commercials for several agencies including Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing and Sanders/Wingo for clients such as Southwestern Bell and the Texas Department of Transportation. She also represented an independent film, "Cavite", under the lead of indie "guru" John Pierson, at the SXSW Film Festival as well as the L.A. Film Festival. She currently is working on more commercials involving TXDOT's campaign to drive safely.
